Four years after the publication of our first anthology, Sa Kabila ng Ritmo: Mga Piling Tula ng mga Bagong Makata, we should now be ready for the second book.

We know this is going to be good news to everyone. In fact, according to many, it is now long overdue!

And we agree.

Ritmo

But first things first. We need people to help us. People who are team players to help us progress this project.

If you are an emanilapoetry member, and you have knowledge or experience in any of the following areas, we want to hear from you.

1. Publication concepts and design

2. Review and selection of materials to go into publication

3. Pre- and post-editing of manuscripts

4. Layouting, typesets, printing and production

5. Marketing and promotion

If interested, please contact Romy Cayabyab, our publisher, to discuss the details of this announcement. When contacting us, kindly write in the message box your area of interest in the project. We expect to form the project team by end of February 2010. It could be earlier depending on the response we receive.

NOTE: In our selection process, it would help us, and the project team soon to form, if everyone’s profile page is current with complete and accurate information in accordance with our website’s Editorial Policy.

We sincerely look forward to hearing from those interested in this project. And from everyone in making this a worthy venture in promoting contemporary Filipino poetry.

How can we help out? Is the project still ongoing? I would like to help – I am a licensed teacher in English who used to proofread for educational publications. I can help with the editing.
