1. I want to view the postings of a particular poet. Can you please show me how?
At the bottom of each post is displayed the name of the writer. Please follow the link to view the other posts of the writer.

You can also enter the name of the writer using the Search or Search our Library button to find the writer’s posts.

2. How do I join emanilapoetry?
You simply click on the Join Us link on the top or right panel or anywhere it is displayed in our website, and fill in the required information. It takes only a couple of minutes to complete your registration. Register now.

3. What types of membership do you have?
Currently, we have Subscriber, Contributor, Author and Editor membership. Once a registration is completed, by default the new registrant is a subscriber.  Additional information on how to become a contributor is emailed to the new subscriber. Regardless of member’s status, his/her  postings to emanilapoetry pages however are governed by Terms and Conditions which empower emanilapoetry to delete or edit any postings that are found to be not in accordance with our Editorial Policy.

4. Is there a fee for joining emanilapoetry?
No. Membership is free.

5. Do you have an Editorial Policy?
Please refer to our Terms of Use on this page. Our Terms of Use page includes our Editorial Policy.

6. Do you, sometimes, criticize the works of other people who happen to be a member of your site too?
Members of emanilapoetry Writers Group, or other registered users, are free to post their comments on posted works. Team Emanila provides the platform, but does not provide commentaries or advisories on members postings. We make suggestions on how a post can be improved, but our suggestions are not publicly displayed.

7. I would like to know if my poems will be safe or if it is bound by copyright law.
Your rights and obligations when posting materials to this site are governed by emanilapoetry.com’s Terms of Use and Editorial Policy. For more information on copyright protection, you may need to seek legal advice.

8. I haven’t accessed my account since August 2007. Are my old login details still valid? How do I post new poems in the new site?
The new site using WordPress was operationalised last September 2007. If you haven’t re-registered yet, please do so now by using the “Join Us” page. You may use the same username as in the old site as the new site is using a separate and different database. It takes only a few minutes to receive confirmation of your re-registration. 9. I am writing poetry but I lack knowledge about style, rhythm, etc. I just want to know if you are also offering a short course for poetry writing?
At this stage, we do not offer courses in poetry writing.

10. How do I retrieve my password?
Please use the “Lost your password” link in the Register/Login page. Instructions will be sent to your mailbox after entering your username or email address. Retrieve your password now.

11. How do I post my poems?
You need to be registered to be able to post your poems. Information on how to post poems is sent to you in our email confirming your registration. Click here to register.

12. I was a member of this site since 2007. I haven’t updated my membership since then. How can I retrieve my account? I want to use my old email address that I used before. Please help me. I want to use my old account.
Register using your old username and same email address. Once successfully logged in, update your profile and direct your readers to your old (now archived) poems. (Click here to re-register. You can do this by simply placing a link to your archived pages.

13. Are there rules that govern postings?
Yes. We have a set of guidelines and standards governing members postings.  Registered members receive these guidelines upon registration and members will be asked to read and understand those advisories before proceeding to their first post.

14. Who are the people behind emanilapoetry?
