Profile
Most of my training comes from the journalistic arts (news writing etc.) but I have a knack for creative writing although I still haven't accessed a proper avenue for it (yep, it's all bottled up inside with no prior experience via creative writing electives) so I suppose my skills in poetry are "raw" and "uncut", emerging, oozing ephemerally from the vast recesses of my soul. I do have training in psychology, however, and that is where I draw my understanding of the way I think of things. I am also very passionate when it comes to Filipino Psychology and the establishment of the Filipino's identity. I tend to shift my thinking between the logical and the creative and I am yet to figure out when I prefer which. I am also presented with a cognitive dissonance regarding my personality since most of my friends expect me to be consistent with the way I relate to them (as a funny and whimsical fellow) when I happen to be thinking a lot of profound thoughts inside. Well lastly, people say I don't age. I have to attribute that to my world view that life is to be enjoyed no matter what--- I just happen to enjoy reading, writing and discovering stuff--- I'm not here to prove anything, I just want to share what I feel. - Eliseo Yanga III
