lingering

by manonton dalan

my ears run dry
with throbbing longing
to hear your voice again

my lips pursing
blowing breeze
reminiscing lovely days

and i can’t keep marveling
without that song of yearning
ease to ember after dawn

am i to deny such feeling
in melancholic evening
always have open ears
