As the Sky Disappeared

by Karlo Mikhail Mongaya

Warm waters of desire
Moved in minute waves
Racing through the sheets
Like clouds swept by wind
With eyes, luminous, like stars
Black and impenetrable
Walls enclose our kisses
Leaving flutters through our chests
Gestures against our skin:
Hollow pearls of the deep
That melts with the slightest touch
A sea of soaking flesh
Commingling beads of ivory and sweat
As the sky disappeared
