Images of you fill the caverns of my thought… 

Like a butterfly fluttering in the wind…
Fragile and delicate yet graceful and beautiful,
Spreading wings of bounty. 

Like a shadow lurking in the dark…
Under the moonlit night
Shining brightly like the star that you are. 

Like a fleeting distant memory…
Reminding me of the past
Giving birth of hope to the future.

Like a passionate kiss…
Sending pulses throughout
Of unimaginable dimensions. 

Like a long goodbye…
Holding tears back
Only to say…I love you. 

Like lost love…
Innocence of discovery
Searching for the truth. 

Like a lullaby sung…
Giving comfort
To realize my dreams. 

Like a shot in the dark…
Chances taken
To live a life of love with you. 

Like the beat of your heart…
Pumping blood through my vein,
I live within you.  

Every waking hour…images of you nourishes my spirit.
In my sleep…images of you occupy my dreams.
Images of you etched in my memory

…forever into eternity.
