brings me cheers

by manonton dalan

fresh memories of falling rain
knocking on my window pane
i was walking outside getting wet
stamping my barefeet on street
then you came with raincoat; red
barely covering below your head

you were talking; fidgeting your fingers
i’m with all smile but i’m not listening
you keep on going as we were walking
we have so much fun; sharing laughter
i picked flowers and gave it to you
you were glowing, everybody know

those were good times then
now, everything has changed
you move out to far away land
we talk but it’s losing its warmth
every time clouds let out its tears
i remember you, brings me cheers

i wrote this after watching movie.
just versing for fun and i love to share
