On the occasion of the 110th Philippine Independence Day on 12 June 2008, I greet every freedom-loving Filipino: “Mabuhay ang Pilipinas!!!” This is our day… I share with you these thoughts…

Independence Day -
the feeling of pride when
a thousand flags fly

Independence Day -
the warm rays of the sun
that gladdens the heart

Independence Day -
the feeling of being one
with a proud crowd

the gentle wind blows
on brows that stand mighty proud -
Independence Day

Philippine flags sway
and the anthem proudly plays -
Independence Day
