Manila sunset -
a pair of tired fishers
rows towards the coast

sunset by the bay -
the silhouettes lay still
against funnelled light

rain clouds
follow my footprints -
the path dissipates

dark clouds -
the grief that never leaves
a wailing widow

the sun slowly hides
behind the dark clouds -
then silence

water ripples
leave a moving boat -
short trips
