I cannot wait for another perfect day to fall

I cannot wait to hear your footsteps once more

I cannot wait to see your smiling face at our front door

I cannot wait, I cannot wait.

I cannot wait for this cold snow to go away

I cannot wait to feel the warm breeze on my face

I cannot wait for spring to come

To see my garden grow again.

I cannot wait for birthdays to come

It is a sign that life is grand

To take it for granted is so unkind

Let us embrace it all we can.
