INSPIRATIONS
Questions and Verses
Aubrey Bahala

Falling into a depthless hole,
I choose to close my eyes.
A dream drowning me to see
Divine intervention happen.

Floating inside my head,
Your face still looks blank.
Thinking of what could I do
To see you paint a smile.

Their misinterpretation of
What I am trying to say
Made every feeble mind
Think of me as a brainless pig.

Insensitive little creatures
Walking on forbidden ground,
They’re pulling each other’s hair.
In so much anger, face is falling.

They spit out sharp words on
Innocent children recovering
Their parent’s lost affection.
They haven’t seen a real tragedy.

They blame me, they adore you.
You as a rich dog swimming in gold,
You haven’t seen anger rule your world.
You haven’t felt my animus eat you whole.
