What if I try to run away from You?

Would you run after me?
Catching your breath
Searching in any direction
Your eyes set onto?

Would you shout out my name?
And beg me to stop
From taking another step
That’ll make me far away from you?

Would you do anything to find me?
Seek every corner of this world
And spend your entire day
Asking everyone if they’ve seen me?

If I choose to keep quiet
And pretend that I’m gone
I doubt that you’ll notice it
You haven’t even heard my name.

If I try to run away from you
I know I’d be disappointed
There’d be no voice, there’d be no effort
There would be no you who’d look for me.
