Away and distant
From the light of grace
Words stabbing sanity
Stumbled on my tongue.

Off guard and selfish,
Pushing affection away.
Trust and truancy
Done by youthful love.

Random and serene,
Fingertips drooling for presence.
White lights under me
Captivating infidelities.

Scorched face, agony
Fitting memories in a bottle
Cork of sins to stop
Blood from dripping.

Excel and exceed
With lies hidden underneath
Government of fake and old
Wisdom has decayed, overhauled.

Sweat and slippers
Brought by a long walk
On a road of shallow miseries
Kingdom of mysteries.

Death from words
Words to reject
Penetration silenced
By a single drop of tear.
