We all belong to the reality Where one needs to fit in And one needs to fake emotions To get by with the hurt and pleasure Everyone is causing everybody.
We blame fate and destiny When things don’t come out The way we wanted it to be. Hiding pieces of sarcasm inside, We wake up trying to pretend it’s alright.
But as we look out the window to feel, The ray of sunlight stabs our face. We burn our dreams with our prayers. We forget we are stepping On the same ground of luck.
One person takes advantage Of another person who does the same. We seep in the blood of others, We live with other people’s life. We forget we have our own.
Time comes to its end, we learn to know That we should turn to transcendence. We beg God to accept us in His kingdom, But when He was the one knocking before, We closed our ears, we closed our doors.
Everybody’s lost, everybody’s insincere And when we smell death coming near We fall onto our knees and pray Reciting forgotten prayers to the heavens, Begging angels, to please take us away from here.
