INSPIRATIONS A Drive to Nowhere with You Aubrey Bahala
I’ve filled up my gas tank because I know you like riding at the backseat Of my old, useless car Passed down from ages.
There’s this something that makes me Feel happy and scared at the same time Whenever I try to hold your hand And lock your fingers with mine.
With stares full of magic and infatuation, We try to dig into each other’s eyes. Seeking for an oath that we would stay Like this, contented with each other, For a long time or possibly, Forever.
I care for you. And I’d walk a mile or so, just to See you smile and feel your warmth At the end of my fingertips. I’ll be waiting to see you shine, With or without me.
There’s too much in my heart But words are too shallow to describe The way my heart feels each day When it beats for you, and you alone.
I’d waste some crude oil, I’d drive my way to reach you To hear your laugh. I’m so willing to cut my afternoon class Just to take a walk with you To nowhere.
To forever? Maybe. Because I’m so willing. Willing to risk it all.
