RANDOM THOUGHTS
Like It Was The First Time
Aubrey Bahala

Her soul was desperately waiting for someone to save her.
Then he came, and he saved her.
He was a stranger.

She does not know at first what to feel.
She was confused.
Her heart does not feel anything.

She was so used up, she can't even think of a word to say.

He was there.
He danced with her heartbeat.
He stayed.

Sincerity was all he could give.
Then came love.
She felt beautiful for the first time.
Again.

He told her to learn to trust.
He taught her to smile again.
Her eyes are closed, yet he guided her.

She is afraid of everything.
She is weak deep within.

He ignored the pain.
He loved her.
But she doubted him.
The pain from yesterday still eats her up.

Anytime now, she would give up.
She would be scared. She might break.

But he is there to hold her
and tell her everything's going to be alright.
And he is there to love her
she suppose.

And she is there to wait
Watching out for a single tear to drop.
She might bleed
She might... die.

But he is there to bury her 9 feet under.

Bury her in his heart forever.
